Speculative Philosophy: Nonduality or Idealism as Working Hypotheses
Alfred NorthWhitehead, in addition to outlining a metaphysical philosophy or cosmology that is rooted and derived from science (though not materialist philosophy), paved the way beyond the recommendations of the Philosophers Kant and Hume and towards a re-engagement in "speculative philosophy". Thus, even people like me who are not certain of what is true may still rationally and justifiably hold one belief over another as probable. In this vain, I personally hold a Whiteheadean version of Nonduality or Idealism as my speculative, working hypothesis.
